The only thing that is constant in her appearance that isn't physically part of her is a single pink hair barette which was in her hair when she'd been delivered to the orphanage. She tends to wear dresses or skirts when available and sandals, generally in pink, again when available. She generally always has a smile on her face, not really seeming to grasp that being an orphan isn't a good thing.
She is slender, though there are still some remnants of baby-fat on her cheeks, which is only exemplified by her dimples as she smiles. Because she likes to run and play, she doesn't have much by way of extra weight, and like any little girl, she loves to give and receive make-overs, especially painting her nails and wearing pretty lip glosses and glitter. Looooooooooots of glitter.

personality;;
Melody is a very bubbly kind of person. She knows what Death truely is, and therefore takes all the more pleasure in life. Her motto is that no one should live like they were dying, that is just a waste of life. Being raised in an orphanage, she has always had people to play with, though some of the older kids tend to pick on her a lot. She always tries to be happy and not cry in front of strangers, especially on visiting day when new people come in to look at the kids to be adopted. She is very friendly, and loves to play, but she is also notoriously shy.
Because of this, she hasn't been adopted, a bit timid of going home with complete strangers, she tends to stay in her room during days when new families come in to look at the other kids. She likes familiarity, and is afraid of any dramatic change, such as moving to a new place. Oh, and she absolutely adores dogs.

history;; It is unknown exactly why Melody was given to the orphanage, only that at the age of 4 months. Her name was unknown to the keepers, and so she was named Marie, after the founder of the orphanage, and it wasn't until she reached the age of one and actually began to take an active interest in music that her name was changed to Melody Marie. Since she could speak, Melody had a fondness for singing, and was actually quite good at it since she did sing every day because it brought herself and so many others joy, and she liked to make people smile. Though it was confusing to those who run the orphanage why Melody has been with them for nearly 4 years without being adopted, Melody knows well why none of the families have taken her home: she simply didn't want to go.
She didn't want to leave her friends behind and go away with people that she didn't know. Were they not told that they were not supposed to talk to strangers? Were not the people that came in for open houses not strangers? So unbeknown to Melody's guardians, she remained in the room she shared with the other girls at the orphanage when the families would come up for an open house. It wasn't until the age of 3 that her guardians noticed this odd behavior, and so from then on tried to actively get her to come to the open houses, though more often then not, she remained in a corner and was far to shy to speak to any of the adults who approached her, thinking she was absolutely adorable. Would it not be better to find parents that didn't just like her based on her cuteness?
Though just after she'd turned four, a problem began to arise, and there was talk of shutting down the orphanage due to them not having any money. Melody was confused as to why the home could not stay open forever, but when she was told she could stop it from closing, she immediately agreed to sing at their little charity where they would take donations. It was there that her life was about to change forever, even though she didn't know it. For who would pass by the outdoor charity event and hear her singing but a man named Phoenix Kontis? Even though at the moment she didn't know, the man was speaking to her guardians about her, and was even arranging an adoption. When he finally was able to speak with her, once more, Melody was rather shy and didn't want to speak with him, though unlike the other perspective parents, this man didn't seem to want to quit. He came back... multiple times... just to speak to her.
After a few months, Melody began warming up to him, even getting past his kind of scary exterior of wearing leather and boots all the time and coming in on that big motor-bicycle. He was actually really nice, and seemed to... understand her in a way, and even went so far one day as to sit down and talk to her about the monsters under her bed. He seemed to know a lot about the subject, and also knew how to get rid of them he said... and from then on, Melody didn't have as many bad dreams after Phoenix got rid of the "nasties" under her bed. She'd never heard that term, but decided that it fit the monsters under her bed very well. He had given her a special present on one of his visits which he hung over her bed and called a 'dream catcher' and it would suck all the bad dreams and the nasties in to it so that they couldn't get her because it was magical, and it would trap all the nasties like bugs in a spider web.
After four months of the man getting to know her and her coming to like him, Phoenix came back one day, not on his bicycle, like every other time, but in a car. Apparently, the paperwork had been finalized... and she was now Melody Marie Kontis... and would be going home with Phoenix. She was scared, and didn't want to leave her friends, but he told her that they could come back and visit them whenever she wanted too, and that she was going to love her new home. And her new family. So she had left with him, all of her positions in one pink bag that Phoenix had brought with him and her dream catcher in one hand while Phoenix carried her pretty pink bag and held her other hand and walked with her to the car. She was put in to some sort of seat in the back that made her taller, Phoenix called it a booster seat, and then she was on her way to her new home... would she like it there? She didn't know...
let's see what you got;;
rp sample;;
Yony could only feel his anger growing by the minute at the young man before them. With each word from Michelle's mouth, the more he wanted the male dead, the more he wanted to watch his life's blood seep from his body over the ivory skulls that made up the floor of his dungeon. To make him pay for every vile thought against his wife, his sons. He would be a good subject for them to practice on. "You will not speak to my wife like that, you pompous overgrown flatworm," he sneered, moving forward, watching as Michelle raised her wand before he was casting the cutting curse at her. "Michelle!" he exclaimed.
He watched the blood flowing from the arm of his beloved and his anger spiked. raising his own wand, he raised his hand and growled softly before suddenly, there was a green light aimed in his direction. He was to far in the motion of attack to dodge, and he closed his eyes, hearing Michelle's scream just before the curse struck him. His body was thrown against the side of the alley, cracking the stone of the wall of the building. Knocking in to even more trashcans, they rolled out in to the main street and there was suddenly a lot of noise buzzing about the mouth of the alley as the local residents and shopkeepers began to notice something going on in the alley.
Yony's form, crumpled on the ground, moved slightly. Shit, that hurt. Bones shattered certainly, definately. God damn, he could hardly remember a time when he'd hurt this much. He was vaguely aware, however, that the man who had attacked him and his wife was escaping, heard the footsteps of him fleeing. He vaguely felt the weight on his chest of the dead body of a certain 6ft runespoor that had taken the killing curse for him. He forced himself to move. No, he would not allow that monster to escape! In his left hand he still clutched the knife from his wrist holster. Raising his hand he threw the knife, watching it sail through the air to catch the coward between the shoulderblades, and he watched the other male fell to the ground.
Collapsing back against the ground once more, broken form unable to support his weight, he closed his eyes, hand resting on one of the heads of his beloved Shota. He closed his eyes slightly. "Michelle?" he called, turning his head slightly to search for his wife. "Michelle, are you alright? Luna..." he whispered, looking towards her, reaching out to gently touch her arm. It was about then that he noticed two peole had come out of the crowd, that two people actually dared approach them, he tensed, readying himself to try and fight again when he realized that the male and female were only Rabastan Lestrange and Viktoriya Riddle. "Is he dead?" he demanded of Rabastan as the younger male knelt beside him. "Is that fucking bastard dead, Rabastan?"
